Sports injuries occur when playing indoor or outdoor sports or while exercising. Sports injuries can result from accidents, inadequate training, improper use of protective devices, or insufficient stretching or warm-up exercises. The most common sports injuries are sprains and strains, fractures, and dislocations.
Rehabilitation program helps in quick recovery, reduces pain, promotes movement of the stiff muscles at injured site, restores normal function of the injured site, and prevents recurring damage to the injured tissue.
I was born and raised in Scotland completing a BSc (Hons) at St Andrews University in Physiology & Medical Biology at 1st Class level. I completed my medical school training in South Wales at the University of Wales College of Medicine.
